 With offices in Shanghai and Beijing, Williams Refrigeration's commitment to Global Products Local Service - with the steady growth of sales in China since the award of a local sales licence from the Chinese Government, enabling Williams to sell 20,000 commercial refrigeration cabinets to the local market. A national distributor network has been established and are now selling products manufactured in the Williams Ming Fai China factory in Dongguan.
With the achievement of ISO9001:2000 in July 2001, Williams Ming Fai is looking to expand the level of business to the Chinese foodservice market particularly with forecasts of excellent economic growth in the future. China is set to become an important market particularly with the growth of tourism and such events as the Olympic Games, which China is hosting in 2008.
Established in 1988 Ming Fai, with manufacturing facilities in Guangdong, China and sales in Hong Kong, provides a wide range of catering equipment and specialist fabrication to major projects including five star hotels, prestigious clubs, restaurant and fast food chains as well as Hong Kong and Chinese Government projects.
In 1996 following major investment by Williams Refrigeration, Ming Fai has become part of the Group manufacturing a wide range of refrigeration products meeting international quality standards set by the UK, and exporting them to Australia, the Middle East, India and to much of South East Asia.
In 1999 Williams Ming Fai gained a local sales licence from the Chinese government allowing them to sell up to 20,000 commercial refrigeration cabinets into the local China market, which is now being carried out by a National Distributor Network.
July 2001 saw Williams Ming Fai successfully receive the ISO9001:2000 accreditation for quality manufacturing. Over the next few years Williams will be expanding their growth into the China market, one of best economic growth countries in the world as well as increasing its sales to worldwide markets. |
